Submission Queue

Updated 2024-07-24

Bookish Nerds Publishing LLC allows simultaneous submissions, so you can submit to other agents/publishers even though you have submitted to us (unless they prohibit simultaneous submissions).

Effective immediately, all submissions will remain on file for consideration during regular acceptance periods unless one of the following two occurs:

  1. Bookish Nerds Publishing LLC sends a queue removal letter.
This letter will state the following:
Thank you for your submission to Bookish Nerds Publishing LLC. We appreciate your efforts and look forward to hearing of your great success. At this time, your manuscript is not queued for further processing. This letter is sent for one or more of the following reasons: 1. Submission guidelines were not met. 2. The manuscript contains many errors. 3. The manuscript needs substantial revision. 4. The manuscript does not appear to be a good fit or is of a niche market whose profitability is questionable. What can you do? 1. On average, people receive many rejections prior to being accepted. You should submit a refined manuscript to as many agents and publishers as you can. 2. Ensure your manuscript is as edited as you can personally make it and that it presents an overall clear story with a focus on showing versus telling, character development, and plot development. 3. Follow all submission guidelines. (e.g. Bookish Nerds Publishing LLC Submission Guidelines) Thank you again, Bookish Nerds Publishing LLC
  2. You email us to withdraw your work from consideration.
